Send first time Commentors on your Blog an automatic thank you E-Mail
Visitors to a site a very picky and suppose your content has drawn their attention enough for them to leave a comment, how do you make them keep coming back for more. People love attention on a personal level. In order to gain return readers and potential subscribers to your blog, how about a plugin that automatically emails a first time commentor on your blog thanking them. Sounds good right. You don’t have to spend half your day emailing each and every one of the commentors on your blog and visitors think that you did and draw them towards your blog.
Introducing the WordPress Plugin Comment Relish. Comment relish is a WordPress Plugin designed to send an e-mail message to users who comment on your blog and who have never commented before. The message that is sent to the users is defined within the plugin’s preferences. There are various tags attached to this such as time stamp, author name, comment etc to allow for information to be included in the message easily.

Installing and Configuring the Comment Relish Plugin
Step #1: Download and extract the Comment Relish Plugin
Step # 2: Upload the comment-relish.php to the wp-content/plugins directory in your WordPress
Step # 3: Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard. Go to Plugins. Scroll down till you see Comment Relish. Activate the plugin
Step # 4: Now go to Plugins — Comment- Relish preferences page. There you need to set some options.
a. Enable Comment Relish to True
b. Under Relish from Name, put in your name or a general admin@yoursitename.com
c. Under Relish from Email, put in your email or the email address you want the email to originate from
d. Fill in the subject under Relish from Subject
e. Finally in the relish message, you can take the help of tags given such as %AUTHOR% or the comment posted or the URL of the article on which the comment was made etc.. For help, you can look at the image below for my Relish Message
