Restore the Preview Post Button in WordPress
When WordPress version 2.1.x was released, a lot of people including yours truly jumped in. The reason was that 2.1.x over 2.0.x had some great features like AutoSave, a great new upload manager for images , a complete overhaul of the visual editor among others.
However, one thing I missed sorely was that WordPress version 2.1.x removed the really nice “preview” and “edit” links within Write Post where in the earlier versions as you are writing a post, you could easily jump back and forth between the write post text area and the preview iframe. For those of us who need to see what the post would look you before you hit that Publish button, this is almost a must want feature. So, here you go. A plugin that restores the Preview Post feature in WordPress.

Plugin Name: Preview Post Navigation

Install and Restore the Post Preview Button in WordPress
Step # 1: Download and install the Preview Post Navigation Plugin. Upload the plugin to your wp-contents/plugins directory.
Step # 2: Log in to your WordPress Dashboard. Go to Plugins and scroll down till you find Preview Post Nav and then click Activate
That’s it. These links will now appear when you edit an existing post you can see this feature.
Note: You will not see this feature like in the previous versions of WordPress where you cannot see the preview button when you write a new post. You can see the preview of your post only after you hit either Save and Continue Editing or hit the Save button.
