Firefrox 3 is not a beta anymore, but when you have been using firefox 2 with lots of add-ons you like very much. you should stick with firefox 2. Most add-ons you use in 2 do not work in Firefox 3. When you do not care about the add ons in firefox 2, yes you should upgrade. Firefox 3 has also plenty of add-ons you can use.

I used to love Firefox, I was a loyal fan of it until Chrome came around and now I’m finding that nothing can really beat it. I’ve not played around with the newest release of Firefox yet though so maybe I should give it another go!

It will most likely set it self as the default browser. This means that if a program needs to open a browser, it will automatically choose the one set as default. You can change which is default in the control panel.

I just don’t get the whole “Built-in support for Personas” thing. I thought it meant it came with Personas preinstalled, but that’s not the case.
May 6th, 2010 at 4:29 am
Well, there’s no limit that you can put to the number of different personas people want. There are hundreds and thousands of different people and objects people want to personalize their browser after so you can never satisfy all those people simply with what comes with the browser, so you need the browser to support downloadable personas.
Till then,
Jean

No longer a fledgling upstart, Firefox is the gold standard of alternatives to the still-dominant Internet Explorer. Firefox 3.6 is full-featured, lightning fast, and secure.
